Random voice dissection: Kimura Ayaka

For those who aren't familiar with her name, she voiced Kana in the first Otoboku (the game, not the anime). Usually you can't tell who she is because Kimura Ayaka is just an alias and her voice isn't easy to recognize at all. In fact, nobody know her true identity. But today, there was something that caught my attention.

This pitch-raising style is awfully familiar to me because of its striking resemblance to that of Mizutani Yuuko (Excellen Browning in SRW Impact / OG series). I don't think I've ever heard anyone else who has that tone change. It's pretty much her unique trait.

Now to another step of the investigation.

In addition to wiki, beautyplanets also lists Kimura and Mizutani as two separate entries, but I doubt that would be the case, considering the followings:

>The entry for Kimura lists nothing but eroge and H-anime (also a few drama CDs)
>The entry for Mizutani lists everything but eroge and H-anime
>Two entry list no overlapping game/anime whatsoever

From my experience, there's no SRW seiyuu who doesn't voice adult stuff (some even voiced yaoi). Mizutani is a veteran seiyuu (48 years old), so she definitely engages in all kinds of voicing. The only question is which alias she uses.

Only one post mentioned Mizutani, but it should be enough to show that it wasn't just me.

On a side note, you might have noticed that the two wiki articles both state that the seiyuu's blood type is O, so that somewhat reaffirms my suspicion.

Now let's see if there's anyone else who shares the same opinion as mine.
